“The Scotty who knew to much”

Several summers ago there was a Scotty who went to the country for a visit.

“Roughing it”

After leaving the Sink, we traveled along the Humboldt River a little way

“The Autobiography Moral Perfection ”

It was about that time that I conceived the bold and arduous project of arriving at moral perfection.

“The chrysanthemums “

The high grey-flannel fog of winter closed of the Salinas Valley from the sky and the rest of the world

“The Story of My Life”

The most important day I remember in all my life is the one on which my teacher Anne Mansfield Sullivan, came to me.

“The Dolls House”

When dear old Mrs. Hay went back to town after staying with the Burnels, she sent the children a doll’s house.

When saying hello the proper thing to do is, make direct eye contact and greet the person with vitality in your voice. Do not look down or away or speak in only a whisper. Make the person happy for having seen you, and you will feel much better about your self as a consequence.

Similarly, when shaking hands with another person, look that person in the eye and offer a firm but not crushing shake of the hand. Just a firm shake or two of the hand will do. Next time you meet a new person do not be puzzled over whether to shake hands. Quickly offer your firm hand with confidence.
